The collection aims to give a second life to leather scraps, fabrics, and other materials chosen by the artist for their form, color, and texture, in order to create organic forms that resemble a second skin

Each artwork is crafted from a single piece of leather or fabric, ensuring minimal waste .

The forms, or garments, are created instinctively, guided by both the mannequin and the material itself, resulting in organic shapes reminiscent of those found in nature or the sensual forms of the female body. This expression aims to convey sensuality, organicity, and movement. Each piece is meticulously sewn, cut, molded, glued, and woven entirely by hand.

Botanical Metamorphosis by Margherita Pandolfini takes its name from the combination of two key concepts: the organic nature of the materials used and the transformation of the material itself during the creative process. The title reflects the idea of metamorphosis, a transformation and mutation of the materials from the beginning, when they are just pieces of leather, fabric, and paper, to their final form as wearable works of art. This concept emphasizes the process through which natural materials are transformed into organic shapes, thus reflecting the beauty and complexity of nature itself.
